Background and purpose: The library website acts as a scientific gateway to communicate with researchers and students, and these websites can meet their information needs if they have the desired information architecture. The purpose of the current research is to evaluate the website of Astan Quds Razavi Digital Library based on information architecture indicators. The research method is applied and descriptive, and the checklist was used to analyze the organization system, tagging system, navigation system, and search system of the website according to the three layers of the information architecture (content, user, and context). The results of the inspection lists showed that the Astan Quds Razavi Digital Library website scored 23 out of 37 points in the organization section, 44 out of 57 points in tagging, 55 out of 78 points in navigation, 26 out of 46 searches; To increase the level of user satisfaction and the efficiency of websites, it is necessary to fully implement the principles of information architecture in their design; By identifying the weak and strong points of the website, this research can be a suitable source for planning regarding the optimization of the website architecture. This research tries to express the weaknesses and strengths of this website and its effectiveness by providing a systematic evaluation of a case study for the Astan Quds Razavi Digital Library website. According to the findings of the research, the website is in good condition with 62%, 77%, and 70% points respectively in the components of organization, labeling, and navigation systems; The weaknesses of the organization plan were more than the type of organization structure. The lack of geographic, audience-oriented, and organizational chart-based plans and the lack of support for social classification are among the most important weaknesses of the website organization system. Not using sequential labels was one of the most important weaknesses of the labeling system; Failure to implement the local navigation system and site map is one of the weaknesses of the navigation system. With 56% points, the search system is in an average condition and cannot correct typos in the input query, remove stop words, find words with the same pronunciation as the input query, find words with the same string as the input query, and rank the search results. The identification of the results based on the relevance of the ranking is one of the weaknesses of the search system.

The statistical population included all the members of public libraries in Kermanshah. A simple random sampling method was used and 377 subjects were selected as the sample size based on the Cochran formula.Findings: In the technology age, users expect the dimensions of staff and librarians and technology to be at a desirable (above average) level. The expectations of users in the dimensions of resources, innovation, entrepreneurship and reference services are at an unsatisfactory (less than average) level and the expectations of outsourcing are modest. Comparison of the average rankings showed that the highest expectations were obtained from the viewpoint of users in the dimensions of librarians and staff and technology services, respectively. Friedman test results showed that users' expectations of public library services differed in importance and priority. Conclusion: Libraries have poor performance in attracting different classes and have not been able to meet their expectations in the technology age.

The population was included 92 librarians of Qom province public libraries. The statistical sample was selected 73 people based on Krejcie & Morgan table. Sampling method is stratified random sampling and data collection tool was a researcher-developed questionnaire with the Likert scale. The face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by expert teachers and its reliability was calculated as 0.96 by Cronbach's alpha method. For data analysis was used descriptive and inferential statistics in SPSS software.Findings: Findings revealed that the feasibility implementation of Bukowitz & William's KM model in the Qom province public libraries is upper than the average (3.29). The results of regression test showed that this model can predict 75% of the effects on the "knowledge contribute" component. The components of "knowledge learning" and "knowledge assess" have the most impact on the "knowledge contribute" component. Also, the feasibility implementation of KM in terms of demographic characteristics i.e. gender, discipline, work experience, academic degree and work type were no significant difference from librarian's view. Conclusion: The Bukowitz & William's model was approved as a suitable model for KM implementation in non-profit organizations like public libraries. Also, effective factors in this model on "knowledge contribute" were identified which will be applicable for managers and librarians of public libraries in Qom province.

The proliferation of resources and the massive influx of information have led libraries to adopt modern technologies to improve and expedite their services to patrons. One such technology is library software, which is employed to assist librarians in their duties. However, the use of these technologies sometimes introduces challenges for users, potentially affecting the efficiency of librarians and the user experience negatively. This research investigates and identifies the core issues and challenges faced by librarians at Shahid Beheshti University when working with the Azarsa library software. Considering that librarians interact directly with this software and that students, as potential users, are directly affected by any issues in its use, this study aims to explore the primary reasons behind these challenges from the librarians' perspective. This research is applied in objective, qualitative-survey in methodology, with a library-based approach. Data were collected through in-person visits to the faculty and central libraries of Shahid Beheshti University, interviews with 9 librarians employed at the university, and the collection of librarians' letters of complaint about the Azarsa software from spring 2021 to December 2022.Through interviews and analyses, 33 issues were identified by librarians while working with the Azarsa software. Most of these issues relate to the system of display and data entry.Consequently, key indicators for evaluating library software include data entry methods, completeness of bibliographic information, features and structure of fields, use of auxiliary databases, and features of the data entry page. More precise data entry into library management software significantly impacts the efficiency and performance of libraries.Upon revisiting the translation, it remains tailored to meet the technical and academic standards required for scholarly articles, including appropriate use of specialized terminology and adherence to grammatical norms. The composition aims for clarity and coherence, suitable for an academic audience. However, this refinement process ensures the translation's alignment with the nuanced demands of scholarly communication.

References in any type of published works or sent to be published have always been a criterion for works evaluation. From a worm eyes view, one criterion to evaluate the papers has been one or two questions in the list sent to reviewers concerning the obsolescence of references. From a bird eyes view, the existence of organizations such as Thomson Reuters as well as some universities evaluating universities at the international level, is a sign of the importance of references. The dominance of concepts such as ISI that has been a matter of discussion among academicians and experts for some time, and its native version, that is ISC is another reason for the importance of references. The purpose of the present paper is to study the “M Lib. on knowledge and information science curriculum (revised): information management studies major” in order to indicate the weak points and strengths of the curriculum in terms of the updatedness of its references. The paper is somehow of content analysis type since it relies on references of the curriculum. Research population consists of all references presented in “M Lib. on knowledge and information science curriculum (revised): information management studies major”. The statistical test employed is mean. The paper illustrated that although Farsi references life is one-year less than the English references, both references are somehow obsolete. Number and mean of Farsi references compared to those of English references, and field-related Farsi references compared to those of English ones, showed a somehow better situation. The same was true about the number and mean of Farsi authored books compared to those of Farsi translated books.
