It was also aimed to present some solutions to improve teaching this course. Methodology: The current research was a survey and a descriptive approach was used.  Fifty eight BA students of Education Sciences in Shahid Beheshti University that passed the “Library and Library Science principles” course  during the past 3 years took part in the study. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather data. The questionnaire included closed questions based on a Likert scale. Descriptive analysis of the data was performed using SPSS statistical software. Findings: The study revealed that library orientation and the principles of organizing the classroom library for the students of Educational Sciences was somewhat effective for them. The maximum effectiveness of this course related to abstracting principles, adjusting the resources list, introducing advanced search tools on the Web and skills for using related libraries. Conclusion: Library Science is a costumer oriented profession the mission of which is facilitating access to knowledge that users need. It has a noticeable role in training users for using library skills and in introducing librarian tasks to them.   <span lang="FA">هدف: هدف کلی این پژوهش، شناسایی اثربخشی درس</span><span lang="FA">کتابخانه و اصول کتابداری</span><span lang="FA">از دیدگاه دانشجویان رشته علوم تربیتی دانشگاه</span><span lang="FA">شهید بهشتی و ارائه راهکارهایی جهت بهبود ارائه این درس است. </span> <span lang="FA">روش­شناسی: نوع</span><span lang="FA">پژوهش حاضر، کاربردی و روش آن پیمایشی است که با رویکرد توصیفی</span><span lang="FA">انجام شده است. جامعه این پژوهش، شامل 58 نفر از دانشجویان دوره کارشناسی رشته</span><span lang="FA">علوم تربیتی دانشگاه شهید بهشتی است که طی سه سال اخیر درس آشنایی با کتابخانه و</span><span lang="FA">اصول کتابداری را گذرانده بودند. برای</span><span lang="FA">گردآوری اطلاعات مورد نیاز، پرسشنامه­ای محقق ساخته تهیه و تدوین شد. پرسشنامه</span><span lang="FA">شامل 19 سؤالات بسته و بر اساس طیف لیکرت</span><span lang="FA">طراحی شده است. تجزیه و تحلیل داده­ها به‌صورت توصیفی و با استفاده از نرم‌افزار آماری</span><span dir="LTR">SPSS </span><span lang="FA">انجام شد. </span> <span lang="FA">یافته­ها: پژوهش</span><span lang="FA">حاضر نشان داد که برگزاری کلاس درس آشنایی</span><span lang="FA">با کتابخانه و اصول کتابداری برای دانشجویان رشته علوم تربیتی، تاحدودی برای آنها</span><span lang="FA">اثربخش بوده است. بیشترین اثربخشی این درس، به اصول چکیده­نویسی، شیوه تنظیم فهرست</span><span lang="FA">منابع، آشنایی با ابزارهای پیشرفته جستجو در محیط وب و مهارتهای بهره­گیری از</span><span lang="FA">کتابخانه مرتبط بوده است. </span> <span lang="FA">نتیجه­گیری: اصلی‌ترین رسالت کتابداری که یک حرفه مشتری‌مدار است، تسهیم‌ و تسهیل‌ در دسترسی به دانشی است که مشتری به آن احتیاج دارد. ارائه درس آشنایی با کتابخانه و اصول کتابداری، می</span><span lang="FA">­</span><span lang="FA">تواند نقش قابل تأملی در آموزش مهارتهای بهره‌گیری از کتابخانه و شناساندن وظایف کتابدار به کاربران داشته باشد. </span> https://lib.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_2484_6b18146c39afeb7f0df93893764e204e.pdf
