To support the costs of peer review, editorial management, typesetting, online hosting, and long-term archiving, Urban Ecological Research applies an article processing charge (APC) for accepted articles.

• Manuscript Review and Acceptance Fee: 3,000,000 IRR
• Publication Fee: 3,000,000 IRR
• Total APC: 6,000,000 IRR
• The review fee is payable after the initial editorial screening and before peer review begins. The publication fee is only charged after the final acceptance of the manuscript.

• APC payments do not influence editorial decisions, which are based solely on the scientific quality and originality of the submission.
• There are currently no waivers or discounts available.
• The journal does not charge any fees for article submission.
