Evaluation of the Organizational Climate of the Sound and Television Archive of Mazandaran Center Using the Climate Qual Tool

Abstract

Purpose: The aim is to evaluate the organizational climate of the Radio and Television Archive of Mazandaran using the Climate Qual tool.
Methodology: The research method is survey-analytical. The research tool is the pre-made Climate Qual questionnaire by Rahdari Moghaddam (2019), with reliability assessed based on Cronbach's Alpha test, which was estimated at 0.748. The statistical population consists of 70 employees of the Radio and Television center. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and t-tests for one sample and independent two-sample tests, as well as the Friedman test, were used.

Findings: The climate of justice (4.61), leadership and management climate (5.02), demographic diversity climate (4.17), innovation climate (4.54), continuous education climate (5.19), teamwork climate (5.20), customer service climate (5.05), psychological security climate (4.78), and deep diversity climate (6.46) at the Radio and Television center of Mazandaran are at a relatively favorable level.

Conclusion: The results showed that the organizational climate at the Radio and Television Archive of Mazandaran is far from excellent. It was found that the archive has weaknesses in the components of demographic diversity and continuous education climates, but is less weak in the components of justice climate, innovation climate, and psychological security climate. The strengths are observed in the components of teamwork climate and deep diversity climate
