Purpose: Moral intelligence’ strength or weakness is one of the factors that can increase or decrease the contribution among people. Moral Intelligence is the capability of understanding right from wrong, having strong moral beliefs, acting according to them and behaving accurately. In this era of increased participation among employees has become an undeniable reality in organizational effectiveness. The aim of this study was to assess the moral intelligence and business partnerships among academic libraries and librarians regarding the relationship between these two variables.
Methodology: A correlational study was used. The study population consisted of all the librarians working at public libraries located in Tehran.
Findings: The finding of this study indicated that the moral intelligence of librarians was more than 73% , while their professional collaboration was about 51% which seems not to be satisfactory.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between moral intelligence and professional collaboration. However, there is low interest and psychological attachment among the people participating in the study towards their work.
