Abstract

With the increasing complexity of organizational environments and the exponential growth of data and information in economic systems, organizational intelligence has been recognized as a critical determinant for enhancing efficiency, strategic decision-making, and sustainable development. The present study aims to develop a comprehensive organizational intelligence framework, focusing on the Central Insurance Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research employs a qualitative approach and is categorized as applied research, utilizing the thematic analysis method. The expert panel consisted of university faculty members and senior managers, with 15 participants selected through purposive sampling until reaching theoretical saturation. Data collection was conducted via semi-structured interviews, and to ensure validity and reliability, the findings were verified by the interviewees. Data were analyzed using the Braun and Clarke (2006) thematic analysis procedure with MAXQDA software. The analysis resulted in the identification of one overarching theme, 16 organized themes, 8 basic themes, and 83 initial codes forming the foundation of the proposed model. This comprehensive model facilitates the assessment, guidance, and improvement of decision-making processes and resource management in similar organizations. Moreover, it provides a cohesive framework to strengthen organizational innovation, flexibility, and responsiveness to environmental challenges, serving as a strategic reference point for policymakers and executives within the insurance sector.
