The present research has investigated the relationship between information technology competency dimensions and job satisfaction and knowledge sharing among education workers in Alborz province in 2024. This research was based on a practical purpose, and according to the method of data collection, descriptive-correlation type. The statistical sample studied was 310 education staff of Alborz province, who were selected by stratified random sampling. The data collection tools in this research were the information technology competency questionnaire (Tippins & Sohi, 2003), job satisfaction questionnaire (Minnesota, 2008), and knowledge-sharing questionnaire (Van den Hooff and De Ridder, 2004). Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression) were used for data analysis using SPSS-24 software
. The dimensions of information technology knowledge, information technology operations and Information technology infrastructure had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. According to the values of beta coefficients, it can be said that the influence of the information technology infrastructure dimension (β = 0.39) is greater than the influence of the information technology knowledge dimension (β = 0.31) and information technology operations (β = 0.13). It is more about job satisfaction. Also, the dimensions of information technology knowledge, information technology operations and technology infrastructure Information have a positive significant effect on knowledge sharing. According to the values of beta coefficients, it can be said that the impact of information technology knowledge (β = 0.45) is greater than the impact of information technology operations (β = 0.27) and information technology infrastructure (β = 0.17). It is more about sharing knowledge.
The results indicated a direct and significant relationship between the dimensions of information technology competence with job satisfaction and knowledge sharing among the education staff of Alborz province. Employee job satisfaction and knowledge sharing are both variables that, if improved, contribute to the overall improvement of the organization.
