Purpose: The purpose of the present research is to investigate the relationship between the components of quality of work life (including 8 Components: adequate payment, healthy and safe job, providing growth opportunity and continuous, legislation in organization, social correlation of working life, total life space, social cooperation and correlation in work organization, improving human capability) with organizational commitment among the librarians of public libraries of West Azerbaijan province.
Methodology: The research is a survey and the research population includes all the librarians of public libraries of West Azerbaijan province. The data gathering tool were the Quality of work life (QWL) and organizational commitment (OC) questionnaires t-test, single-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation coefficient were applied to analyze the data.
Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and meaningful relationship between quality of work life and its components with librarian organizational commitment. Also between librarians of public libraries in terms of demographic information (sex, discipline, post, and work experience) about quality of work life and organizational commitment there is no significant difference.
Conclusion: The findings indicated that if the libraries could provide conditions until will increase the quality of work life of librarians followed by organizational commitment in itself will improve
