[English]

Purpose: Today, with the spread of the web, the use of successful recovery tools from this huge data platform has become very important. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to compare the current performance and overlap of Google, Yahoo, and Bing search engines in data retrieval compared to 1398.
Methodology: The present study is an applied and semi-experimental research. The statistical population includes all active search engines on the web and the samples were selected through purposive sampling. The data collection tool is created researcher checklist.
Findings: Findings from the present study showed that the accuracy of search engines Google, Yahoo, and Bank in three types of query, keyword and phrase search compared to the results of the study conducted in the research of Abbasi Dashtaki & Ghasemi Alvari in 1398 increased has found. In addition, Google's search engine is still more accurate than Yahoo and Bing search engines. Google has been more careful in query searching, Yahoo and Bing in phrase search than the other two types of search. Earlier in 1398, Google in keyword search, Yahoo in keyword and phrase search, and Bing in keyword search had higher accuracy. The study of the degree of overlap between them also showed that the overlap between these search engines has decreased compared to 1398 and have shown more unique results in the current study.
Conclusion: The search engines studied have shown better performance compared to 1398 and have become more powerful in three types of search queries, phrases and keywords. Google's search engine uses a structured data generator, algorithms such as Hummingbird, Penguin, Panda, etc., using rich results, knowledge graphs, personalized user interface, and other features that make it a powerful search engine. seems this search engine today the first option of most users in the web world to search and retrieve information. The overlap of the studied search engines has decreased compared to 1398.  It seems that the reptiles of these tools have examined more unique pages, and this could indicate the distinction and capabilities of the new algorithms used in these reptiles of each of these tools.
